still coming home

i promised ellen that i would post every day, even if there isn't much to say. we are still coming home tomorrow. a friend of the family was kind enough to loan us his personal jet so we won't have to deal with baggage claim, security, etc. we will be in north canton around 11:30 tomorrow.

we can't thank everyone enough for the continued outpouring of support. in our darkest hours you shined a brilliant, white light on us. WE can see... thanks to all of YOU.

we will see you soon.

Ryan and Ellen,
I'm so glad you are coming home. As many have said before, there will be such strength, encouragement and energy gained by being surrounded by those who love you. Be safe - will look forward to seeing you sometime soon. Starbucks is still on the agenda.

Have a safe trip home. I'm sure your own bed will feel amazing, Ellen. That alone will make you heal. Love, Sommer

Hi Ellen and Ryan, Welcome home! I have been glancing at the clock all morning. Picturing Ellen relaxing at home with Nugent in the way, (as cats were meant to be) while Ryan makes sure Ellen has everything she needs. All take care today. Love, Aunt Connie

Ryan and Ellen,
What you have shared through this blog, and so eloquently I might add, is a gift to all who follow the blog. Your words leave me speechless. We will be so glad here in North Canton to know that you are home. Sleeping in your own bed and enjoying familiar surroundings should be therapeutic.

Ryan and Ellen, I am really looking forward to seeing the both of you. I was talking to someone today who's friend went to a holistic doctor as a last resort, and she really got great results. She believes in this approach more then anything. I really hope you recieve the same outcome. I cant wait to get the word that its ok to come see you. - Alison

Ellen...It was so wonderful to be able to talk with you last night and still hear strength and conviction in your voice.

I can't wait to hear what the holistic doctor tells you tomorrow because I really believe there are options other than traditional medicine that work.

Hope you are enjoying being in the surroundings of your own home.

All my love and prayers,
Aunt Susan

Hope Ellen is resting well tonight. I just wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow with the holistic doctor. I hope that the ride over and back don't cause too much discomfort for Ellen. I can't wait to hear what he has to say. Please remember I am only a phone call away if there is anything I can do for you.

There is no place like home! I hope you are settled now and enjoying being at home with all of your stuff! I am here if you need me, let me know.

If Nugent is anything like our old cat Sam, you will get to be awakened by a cat in the middle of the night jumping on you instead of someone coming in to poke you.
Thinking of you always,
Jen

Glad you made it home okay. I am sure you are glad to be in your own home again.
I stopped over moments after you got home to leave you a little cheer at your garage door but I didn't want to intrude on your homecoming. I hope to be able to visit with you when you are up to seeing people Ellen. Ryan, all I can say to you is that you would by my dream son-in-law. Ellens' and your family both should be so very proud of you and how you are handling everything. Not many people would take the time to make sure everyone that cares has been kept informed along the way. Thank you! Thank you!We are eager for an update on how you are doing Ellen. We are beside you on your journey. Love, Cathy
