nothing new to report

good evening,
today was a very unproductive day for me. i did visit again with my cousins for a short while and then went straight to sleep again for the afternoon. as you can tell i am a very boring person these days. i woke up for the mail today which is one of my favorite times of the day. i can not thank you all enough for all the cards and gifts. i love receiving everything. i keep all of my cards in a box i decorated by my bed and re-read them all the time!

thank you all and hopefully i will have more news tomorrow or in the upcoming days that isn't boring! i did receive connect 4 from ryan's friends today (along with a ton of other stuff, thank you SO much) and i believe we will play that tonight if i feel alright. games will help pass the time some more than just watching tv.

love you all,

Hi Ellen,
Well it sounds from last night's blog taht you are doing the right things. I like the reort on all those numbers! Sleep is good - it restores your body. I sent an email to the artful life address- just wondering if I could put something together for you for the artful life booth at MSF. Julie Elkins stopped by today from the Medical Foundation and asked if we wanted her dept. to put something together to explain the charity you are donating to. so - we could at least have the information and promote the concept if tht is what you want. Or you could skip it - it's all up to you. We are at your disposal!

Take care, sleep and rest up for those tests etc. next week....still thinking of you and praying for you,
Jan K.

I love connect four! maybe we can play when I visit. Do you think you'll be up for a visit from me next Wednesday? I just might bring Davin along--we'll see. He's quite good at connect four, well, at least he thinks he is.

We're glad you finally received the package!! We were getting worried...I hope some of those things help you pass the time and just relax a little. I can't imagine what you have been going through, so the care package was just a little thing we threw together to let you know we are all thinking of you!

Hey Ellen!
Yeah about the numbers being good! So exciting! Connect four is on the top of our list, too!
I see some others have commented about our storm here in NC last night. You would have been laughing at our night! First, I was dropping Maddie off for swim team, and had to run out of the Y before they made us stay in the hallway. (Tristan was watching Marcus) Then we come home before it hits hard and get soaked running into the house. Tristan then actually had football practice--they delayed it an hour. He leaves his mounthgaurd who knows where and I have to run to Logans to buy a new one. (This is all between 5:30-6:30)
Go Southwest!!!

Lovely El and Ryan,
Hi!
I am so glad to read that Lauren is posting about my female parts on here;) ha ha! You are doing amazing! I am so glad to read that your count is going down down down! I am in NC as I type and it has been busy with all of the wedding activity and family/friends here, but it has been a hoot! I miss you. My mom and I have been talking about you and praying for you together. I love you and when this weekend is all said and done I will write you all about the day and I will send pictures. The whole reception hall is in pink!! PINK, PINK EVERYWHERE! Take care, get rest and keep up the good work. I will never know how hard this is on you, but you have had so much grace and a positive attitude in this fight! I cannot wait to see your new art. YOU ARE AMAZING!!Hugs and kisses.

The news about your counts is terific !!!!
Don't be concerned about your sleeping. Your little body must need it. And I agree with you to avoid the er unless it becomes necessary.

Hi, Love. Stacy gave me your blog address, I hope you don't mind. I'm so sad to hear what you're going through, but so excited about your positive attitude. Congrats on your labs. Must be the Big Macs. :-))

Ellen beating cancer? Damn right you will. You're the toughest chick I know.

You are in my prayers and thoughts each day, and I just wanted you to know.
I love you.
